Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Punch Out!! Coming To NES – Nintendo Switch Online This Month

Three excellent NES games are coming to the NES – Nintendo Switch Online service later this month.

Nintendo has confirmed today that Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Punch Out!! and Star Soldier are coming to the service tomorrow, April 4th. All three games are very good, but Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and Punch Out!! are the true standouts.

Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels is the true sequel to the original Super Mario Bros. While the game features the same graphics as its predecessor, The Lost Levels is a much harder experience, which never made it to the US and Europe during the NES era.

The game was made available worldwide only in the Super Mario Bros. All-Stars Collection released on the SNES.

Punch Out!! is among the best games released on the NES. The boxing game by Nintendo is unlike anything that’s been released, feeling more like a puzzle game rather than a true boxing game, as players need to figure out the attack patterns of the opponents to strike back hard.

The new NES – Nintendo Switch Online games will become available tomorrow, on April 4th.
