Street Fighter: Duel may let you start with Ryu or Ken, but if you want another iconic characters from the series on your team, you have to do a lot of rerolling—especially at first, as you have rather limited resources.

Ryu and Ken are of similar strength, and they are good to get you started. But if you aim at creating the best team of street fighters and getting characters with the highest initial stats, you should learn how to reroll in Street Fighter: Duel and play the fickle gods of the game’s gacha system.

What to do before you can reroll in Street Fighter: Duel

As you start playing for the first time, you choose your first character (Ken or Ryu) and proceed with the tutorial, which leads you through the first several stages of the game. After you complete the first 12 stages, you get a chance to do your first multi-summon. Drawing your first 10 cards, you are guaranteed to get one A-tier character, usually Cammy or Poison.

When you get control of your account after the tutorial, you should head to your game inbox and claim the pre-registration rewards, because one of the freebies is the Server Launch Pack that guarantees one of the following characters:

  • Dhalsim
  • Guile
  • Blanka
  • Elena
  • Feilong
  • Guy
  • Decapre
  • Adon
  • Makoto
  • Cody
  • Dan
  • Hakan

While some of the characters on this list are quite good, you might not get the one you wanted in the first place. That doesn’t mean you have to settle.

If you’re not happy with the characters you got, you can reroll. And that is easy to do if you follow these instructions:

  1. Go back to the Main Screen;
  2. Tap on your character avatar in the upper left corner;
  3. Make sure you are in the Basic Info tab;
  4. Look for the Select Server button in the lower right corner of the pop-up screen and tap it;
  5. Select a new server.

This way, you get to start the game anew. Unfortunately, you will have to go through the tutorial again and grind a bit before you get the chance to draw your first set, but it’s worth it.
