In the past few months, Square Enix has released several entries of the Dragon Quest series on the App Store in all regions. Following the release of Dragon Quest V earlier this year, fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating the release of the next entry of the series on iOS.
A few hours ago, Square Enix has released Dragon Quest VI: Realms Of Revelation on the Japanese App Store. The game, which is based on the Nintendo DS version which has been released in all regions a few years ago, has yet to be confirmed for the West but we should learn more about the matter soon, considering all the other Dragon Quest iOS ports have been released West.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms Of Revelation is the final entry of the series to get released on the Nintendo Super NES years ago. The game features a much strounger focus on characters and story than its predecessors as well as some gameplay features that allow for greater customization, such as the class system inspired by the one included in Dragon Quest III and more. While the game is generally not considered as good as Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest V, it’s still an excellent old school role playing game that no fan of the series should pass on.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms Of Revelation is now available on the Japanese App Store. The Western release has yet to be confirmed but we will let you know more about it as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
