Rocket League is a game that needs no introduction, as it is among the most popular competitive online multiplayer games ever released. As the game requires precise controls, a straight mobile port of the game has yet to be released, and it looks like it never will, as Psyonix confirmed that an entirely new game is hitting iOS and Android this year.
Rocket League Sideswipe will play quite differently from the original game. Featuring a side view more suited for mobile devices, the upcoming game will still see players controlling a variety of vehicles and enter the arenas for some heated matches.
Despite the change in perspective, Rocket League Sideswipe will come with all the features that fans love about the original game, such as the many customization options. As the game is still far from release, however, we should expect things to be different from what is seen in the reveal trailer below.
