The Best Job in Ragnarok Origin—Swordsman

If you like to play at the front lines, then, Swordsman is the job for you. This class is all about melee combat, which means that you will go where the heat of the action is. Swordsman’s stats lean heavily into STR and AGI with a solid pinch of DEX as well.

Later on, you have a chance to develop into a Knight or a Crusader, but before that, you will have a chance to have fun with critical skills like Magnum Break which deals fire damage to nearby targets and knocks them back.

In our experience, this is the job most suitable for beginners who are still getting the hang of the game thanks to its versatility—you can focus on its offensive or defensive potential, depending on your preferences. And there is just something noble about serving as protection for your allies in the back.

Ragnarok Origin Class Tier List—Other Recommended Jobs

While we prefer Swordsman, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with other classes too. From the remaining options, we would suggest becoming a Mage or an Archer. Mages deal powerful elemental attacks from a safe distance and can evolve into Wizards or Sages. Archers also provide that ranged experience and can be the crucial element in battles if first-hand combat is not your thing.
