Trainers in Pokémon Go are getting a special treat for the end of November! Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is joining the world of Pokémon for a limited-time collaboration event. Join the festivities for an in-game performance and special Pokémon appearances! Pokémon Go x Ed Sheeran Event
The collaboration event will kick off starting November 22 at 11 AM PST, lasting until November 30, 1 PM PST. Be sure to join in for the celebration!
During the event period, Trainers can watch an in-game performance featuring Ed Sheeran’s latest album, =. All you need to do is open Pokémon Go and then go to the in-game News. The official song list includes:
- “Bad Habits”
- “Overpass Graffiti”
- “Thinking Out Loud”
- “First Times”
Ed Sheeran’s favorite Pokémon are all mostly Water types, and he usually picks the Water starter whenever he starts a new Pokémon game. To celebrate this, Water starters from the main Pokémon games will be available to catch in the wild! The complete list includes:
- Squirtle wearing sunglasses
All listed Pokémon, excluding Froakie, will have their shiny forms appearing as well. Also, Trainers will be able to snag a Squirtle wearing sunglasses! If you missed out on one of these stylish Squirtles from the 2018 Community Day, this is your chance! You’ll also be able to encounter one by completing Field Research Tasks.
