Niantic has announced the details of Pokemon Go’s latest event, known as Valentine’s Day 2022. The event kicks off on Feb. 10 and continues until Feb. 14. Once again, a bunch of Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild during this time frame.
On top of this, trainers will receive special in-game bonuses and new Timed Research tasks to work through. Niantic has revealed the complete details of the upcoming Valentine’s Day 2022 event. So without any further ado, let’s dive deep into the details.
Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day 2022 Event Bonuses
- Your Buddy Pokémon will bring you items more often
- 2x Lure Module Duration
- 2x Catch Candy
Please note: The bonuses are active from Monday, Feb. 10, 2022, to Tuesday, February 14, 2022, (–8 GMT).
Collection Challenges
The event will feature two Valentine’s Day–themed Collection Challenges! Complete the Collection Challenges to encounter a female Frillish and a male Frillish.

The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild:
Flabébé with different coloured flowers will be appearing in the wild depending on where you are in the world:
- Red Flower Flabébé: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Blue Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
- Yellow Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Americas
If you’re lucky, you might encounter White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé, no matter what region you’re in.
