As a part of the Ultra Unlock event, Shieldon, the Ancient Pokemon, was made available in a shiny variant. The spawn rate of Shieldon was also boosted during the event. Regardless of the event, here’s a guide on how to find and catch Shieldon.

Shieldon and its Shiny variant are both hard to find. You might stumble upon either of them by chance. Keep playing your regular game and you might come across Shieldon in the wild. You can increase the spawn rate with incense or other items.

Another way to get a Shieldon is to hatch all the eggs in the 7km radius. Use several Incubators to increase the likelihood of hatching a Shieldon.

Lastly, you can catch Shieldon in 1-star Raid Battles. You are more likely to get a Shiny Shieldon in a raid battle.

Shieldon is a rock-steel type of Pokemon, which makes it immune to most of the other Pokemon types. To beat Shieldon, you will have to use a powerful Fighting, Ground, or Water Pokemon.

Avoid using Flying, Normal, and Poison Pokemon as they will deal very little damage to Shieldon.
