People who play Pokémon Go know that this game is not as popular as it used to be. That is why the developers started making different events to boost the game’s popularity. One of them is the long-turn event Season of Heritage, with the new occasion called Mountain of Power. It is the first event of 2022, organized by the game everyone knows—Pokémon Go.

This event is scheduled to start on January 7 at 10 AM (local time). This event will run until January 13 at 8 PM. The Mountain of Power event will feature rock and steel Pokémon, which are more common when you play in modes like Wild or Raids. You can achieve one bonus in the Pokémon Go Mountain of Power Event: ½ walking distance to earn with your Buddy.

During all days of Mountain of Power, an event will allow you to get hearts with a friend after completing half of the usual walking trip. Also, now is the best time to achieve the Best Buddy status with your best Pokémon, giving you bonuses like CP boots, catch assist, and different random presents. Here is the list of the Pokémon that will spawn more often than others during event days: Slugma, Nosepass, Geodude, Machop, Ferroseed, Barboach, Onix, Zubat. Moreover, the event will allow you to access the Shiny Slugma. This event is the first time it will appear in Pokémon Go.
