How to Get a Unova Stone

Unova Stones can currently only be obtained by completing weekly Field Research Breakthroughs. You can claim the stamps for a Research Breakthrough after completing seven Field Research Tasks on different days. There’s a chance to get an Unova Stone in addition to the special Pokémon that will spawn.

It’s worth noting that you don’t have a high chance of getting an Unova Stone, so it could be a while before you get one. Unova Stones can also be found as rewards for Timed Research from events, so keep an eye out for them.

Chandelure is the most powerful of the options listed above. The fire and ghost-type Pokémon becomes a formidable ghost-type attacker if you equip it with Hex and Shadow Ball.
