Pokemon GO Holiday 2020 Event Detailed

Like almost every mobile game, Pokemon GO is getting ready for the Holiday celebrations. A new special event will begin next week, bringing new content that will be available for a limited time only.

The Holiday 2020 event will see Ice-type Pokemon appear more frequently in the wild, Raids and from Eggs, including debuting Pokemon Vanillite. Specifically, Spheal, Snover and Vanillite will appear more often in the wild, while Seel, Swinub, Smoochum, Snorunt, Snover and Vanillite will hatch from 5km eggs.

For the whole duration of the Holiday event, several Pokemon will also appear in holiday-themed outfits, like Pikachu, Delibird and Cubchoo. Also part of the Holiday Event will be new Field Research, new AR mapping tasks and more. Full details on the Pokemon GO Holiday Event 2020 can be found on the Pokemon GO blog.

Pokemon GO is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store. The Holiday 2020 Event will run from December 22 until December 31st, so you’d better get ready: the festivities won’t wait for latecomers!
