Things are still far from being perfect, especially from the developer’s point of view, as the game features a lot of glitches that can be easily exploited to break the game, so a new patch has gone live today to further fix and improve the two games.

The Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl 1.1.3 update is considerably smaller than the ones that were released before, as it doesn’t add any new gameplay feature or iron out specific bugs. According to the patch notes released by Nintendo, the 1.1.3 patch fixed some issues for more pleasant gameplay. With notes being so vague, it is up to players to discover what changes have precisely been made.

While it is early to know every small change included in patch 1.1.3, it has already been confirmed by Centro Pokemon that the patch fixes the latest Pokemon duplication glitch. As such, you will want to prevent your game from updating automatically if you want to continue using this glitch to make copies of any Pokemon in your possession. Given how many of these glitches have been found so far, it wouldn’t be surprising for a new one to be discovered, so do not lose hope if you have already updated the game and wanted to duplicate Pokemon with the latest glitch: the next one may be right behind the corner!
