But before we get started, I’m going to mention that we will not be covering the 1-star and 2-star heroes, since they are basically not even worth mentioning. Just use them as hero food, and don’t worry about leveling them up or anything like that because they aren’t worth the investment.

Therefore, let’s not waste another second and dive right into the Lyn: The Lightbringer tier list & best characters in the game!

Lyn: The Lightbringer – Tier 1 Characters

The heroes that are the best, from the moment you get them until you reach the very strongest stages – these heroes should cover their role pretty well and carry you with ease through the levels.

Front Line: Fenrir 4*(Front / Mid), Lephaion 4*,  Verulian 4*

Mid Line: Loki 4*, Yurieh 4*, Shine 4*, Kriton 4*, Ervette 4*, Vekki 4*, Aki 3*

Back Line: Miriam 4*, Lilith 4*, Micilin 4*, Tia and Tiren 4*

Lyn: The Lightbringer – Tier 2 Characters

Most of the heroes that you started with are decent, which is why Leora is here. The Tier 2 characters that we have chosen are basically not the  best, but not the worst either. Especially with good gear and some decent team mates, they could excel and perform at the same level as some OP 4* ones.

Front Line: Vyle 4*, Hayes 4*, Sophia 4*, Furious Stone Golem 3*, Leora 3*

Mid Line: Difrancis 4*, Skadi 4*, Crystal 4*, Seiji 4*, Dark Alphen Magus 3*, Roven Chief 3*

Back Line: Rua 4* (Mid / Back), Airen 4*, York 4*, Meldas 3*, Terry 3*

Lyn: The Lightbringer – Tier 3 Characters

The heroes we have chosen for the Tier 3 category are slightly not as good as the ones in previously mentioned, but are not bad by all means! They could be decent as well, but require quite a little bit of investment and gearing up, and in some team compositions could perform really well.

Front Line: Tao 4*, Landisel 4*, Aleista 4* (Front / Mid), Lizard Chief 3* (Front / Mid), , Giant Stone Golem 3*, Agazion 3*

Mid Line: Feiren 4* (Mid / Back), Grimhilde 4*, Divine Eres Mage 3* (Mid / Back), Alphen Magus 3* (Mid / Back)

Back Line: Deshua 4*, Dragonian Mage 3*

Lyn: The Lightbringer – Tier 4 Characters

Now here I’ve mentioned the heroes which haven’t managed to impress me so far, or I simply haven’t found a good use for them yet. They could work, of course, but if you get the opportunity to get better ones, I’d definitely go for it.

Front Line: Varos 4*, Locan Chief 3* (Snowfall Locan Tribe), Giant Ice Golem 3*, Ignis 3* (Front / Mid)

Mid Line: Kaprica 4*, Incubus Dancer 3*, Succubus Dancer 3*, Jean 3*, Charlotte 3*, Winry 3*

Back Line: Lamia Witch 3*, Eres Mage 3*, Locan Chief 3* (Titania Of The Locan Tribe)

These would be our lists for the Lyn: The Lightbringer best characters in the game (& tier list, of course). There are some heroes which are slightly better for other instances (Arena for example) than others, but it all depends on how you compose your team and how well your gears are.

For example, a very good but versatile character is Crystal, who I’ve put in the Tier 2 category, but she could even be considered Tier 1 because of the flexibility. Because of the passive skill of hers which decreases the Cooldown of skills for the heroes in the same line, you could place her anywhere basically.

If you have a good team with Taunt, you could put her in front line to decrease the tanks’ cooldown of skills. If you put her in the mid line, you could use some really strong bursting heroes and use her to decrease their skills cooldowns. And finally, if you are facing some strong boss and your team needs lots of healing, place her in the back line with some OP healers and use her passive to boost them.

Like I said, it all depends on how you choose to play and the team composition. For all that matters, all heroes could be tier 1! It’s just that not all of them could work that awesome in different team comps! Just test things out and don’t pay too much attention to the recommended team setup – try your own! If you fail, try something different! Eventually, you will figure something out that could work its magic for you!

I have been playing games ever since I can remember. My passion for video games and especially pixel graphic games must have started back when I was little, because every time I try a new game with pixel graphics I immediately fall addicted to it! I started writing about mobile games in November 2018, focusing on creating in-depth guides for the most popular titles out there. Other than games, I am also passionate about design, and working on my very own pixel game in my free time.

Lyn: The Lightbringer: Tier List / Best Characters in the Game

  1. I have been using Micilin and Tia and Teren in the mid lines due to their AoE ultimates. In the back line the heals don’t often reach the front where they tend to be needed most. I also see that these healers don’t pull much aggro and take damage in this spot. For the same reason (but for AoE damage), I use Lilith in the mid line as well. Gets the ultimate damage most effective range on enemy mobs. I haven’t been playing long so I’m still getting used to what’s up. Hopefully this is helpful.
