Legend: Rising Empire – Best Faction to Choose

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

There are three factions that you can choose from in Legend: Rising Empire for mobile. But which is the best faction for your kingdom? That’s what we’re going to talk about in today’s article!

Unfortunately, there is not really an answer to fit all playing styles, as each faction basically improves your stats and earnings depending on your style of play. However, I do believe that one is better than the other two and we’re going to find out which one it is, as well as learn a bit more about each faction in the game.

So let’s not waste a single second and instead let’s find out which is the best faction in Legend: Rising Empire!

Factions overview

Let’s look first at the three factions in the game: Money Empire, Industrial Giant and Warmonger. The higher the level of the faction, be better as you unlock more boosts for your empire.

Money Empire

As its name suggests, the Money Empire is a faction focused on resource gains and improving your empire’s financial power. As a result, it will unlock more economic buildings and will offer a boost to defense and resource gathering-related troops (Siege units and Ranged ones).

This faction offers a good start boost and is recommended to those who spend a lot more than the average playing the game. This way, it’s easier to level it up and build more economic buildings (at level 5 with this faction you already have the option to build 4 more economic buildings):

Industrial Giant

This is a good choice for those who only spend an average or low amount of time in the game, as you get more industrial buildings, boosts to your city defense and it’s easier to produce your own resources. Of course, even so you won’t be able to beat farming on the world map, so I don’t really recommend this faction for the long run (or any other time).

You can check out the first set of bonuses (which are mostly defense-oriented) below. You won’t be impressed, and I would say that the Industrial Giant is the most boring faction to choose:

Warmonger

We’re going to switch now to the most fun faction to play, one that focuses on the military and offensive aspect of the game. And although you should expect a rougher start at first with slower progress than with the other two factions, you will really appreciate this faction long term.

The boosts are, however, absolutely great for those focused heavily on a strong military presence: all your troops get various boosts to their stats as you level up, you have a nice mixture of buildings offered and you will find it a lot easier to get the most out of all situations.

I repeat – progress is slower early on (or at least the requirements a bit tougher), but it’s really worth it!

So… what’s the best faction in the game?

I think that my option is pretty obvious and I will say that you’re best choosing Warmonger. If you’re just starting up and you want a bit of a headstart, you can go for Money Empire first (for a few to several days), then switch to Warmonger. But honestly, you can choose them from the beginning, go through the slightly rougher start, but get to the higher levels faster to enjoy the boosts and advantages.

It’s good to know that you can switch between factions at any given time, at no extra cost. However, if you do so, all the bonuses gained from the faction you were using will be reset and all buildings that you have purchased as an effect of those bonuses will be automatically sold. But your faction’s level won’t be reset, so it will be a bit easier if you decide to switch back.

These would be my thoughts regarding the factions in Legend: Rising Empire. If you have a different favorite, please share it with us in the comment section below. Also, if you need more advice on how to play the game to get the most out of it, make sure to check out our tips and tricks as well.
