When you start playing Langrisser mobile, you will notice that the game has an unique approach to deciding the class of your main character, Matthew. You will have to answer some questions to the Goddess of Light and, based on your answers, your class will be decided.

Now, the problem is that most of the answers you will be allowed to select won’t make it too obvious what type of class you’re aiming for. Also, some answers might have no effect on the class you’re getting, while others might matter a lot.

The problem is that you don’t really know all these when you start the game. But if you’re reading this guide, then you’re definitely doing everything right and you will be able to select your character’s starting class.

If you didn’t think about checking out a guide for the answers, then you probably already have a class for Matthew – one that you are not happy with. You might be able to reroll and get your favorite class – read this guide on rerolling to find out how to do it (but to put it short, all you have to do is select “No” when asked if you are satisfied with the results).

Also, it’s worth mentioning that your first class (the one listed to the left when you’re done with the character’s quiz) can be changed as you go through the Class Upgrade options in the game. However, the secondary class can’t be changed and that is the one which is decided by your answers.

Now, before getting to the answers themselves, let’s see what are the classes you can get in the game and which one is the best to aim for:

Dragon (Flyer): The best in my opinion, as Matthew becomes a flying unit, gets a ton of movement points and can even boost the movement of allies. Her also gets a chance in 5 for an extra turn. Best class IMHO.

Strike Master (Cavalry): This is also really good as cavalry units are great in this game and very strong. This class will also give Matthew increased movement and potential for extra turns.

Bow master (Archer): Archer units are relatively slow, but great against flying units. Not the best choice in my opinion, but still decent.

Shadow (Assassin): Unfortunately, this is the worst option you can get in terms of class for Matthew. It’s true that he can target enemy commanders directly and try to assassinate them, but it’s overall a weaker build than others.

Now that we know which are the potential classes for Matthew, let’s see what answers we need to give the Goddess of Light when the game starts in order to unlock each of them (in case the order of the question is messed up, just look at all the 9 potential answers listed below and select the indicated one):
