King of Crabs: How to Unlock All Crabs in the Game

If you’re playing the amazing King of Crabs game on mobile, you’re definitely wondering what could you do to unlock all the crabs and get those super massive beasts starting with the Rare ones… Well, we’ll talk about that in today’s article on how to unlock all crabs in King of Crabs.

Before we get there, though, I have to tell you that it won’t be easy! You need to be very active in the game in order to get them all or spend a lot of money. There’s really no other way around it, but the good thing is that the game is so insanely fun that playing it a lot won’t be a real problem, on the contrary.

We’ve also published an article filled with useful King of Crabs cheats and tips that will help you progress faster and unlock them all ASAP. But now let’s focus on this thing alone and see what can be done to get all the crabs in the game!

There are 13 crabs available in the game at the moment: the common crabs are smaller and less impressive, followed by 3 rare crabs which are starting to get bigger and a bit more impressive.

Things get serious with the Super Rare ones, which are large and scary (especially the coolest of them all, the Snow Crab which is Purple). Finally, you get the Mega Rares, the most difficult ones to get and the largest of them all.

The larger and rarer the crab, the better its stats. Larger crabs deal a lot of damage, for example – but there’s no way for us to actually compare and see how things change with rarities and sizes because the game simply doesn’t share this information with us. But larger crabs are not only cooler, they’re also meaner and better!

Now… how to unlock them all faster?

Climb up the ranks!
If you play the game a lot, you will unlock new crabs as you go. It does take a lot of time and dedication (and a bit of skill as well), but you will eventually get there and unlock them all.

For example, you get your first rare crab when you reach the 1st Gold Rank, with the 2nd at Gold 3. Your first Super Rare unlocks at Crab Lord 4, while for the first Mega Rare you will have to wait until you reach Crab Champion.

This is not extremely easy to do: we’re still a long way away from this. But the game has just been launched, we’re having a ton of fun so far so I am sure it won’t be a problem to just get there. Be patient and you will too!

The Royal Grab
The second option available to you when it comes to unlocking all the Crabs in the Game (and the fastest if you are lucky or spend some real life money) is to go for the Royal Grab. This is a gacha-like system in which you spend premium currency to unlock a mystery treat.

However, the drop rates for the crabs are extremely low even if you’re spending the Pearls aka premium currency to give it a try:

Common Crabs have a drop rate of 5.3%
Rare Crabs have a drop rate of 2.5%
Super Rare Crabs have a drop rate of 0.5%
Mega Rare Crabs have a drop rate of 0.2%

These are extremely low rates, meaning that just about 8 Royal Grabs out of 100 should have a crab – with very, very small chances of getting the rarest of them all.

Of course, you could get lucky and unlock them faster than others, but these numbers don’t look too good. And since Pearls are pretty expensive, paying to get them will probably cost a little fortune.

How to get more free Pearls in King of Crabs?

Fortunately, you can speed things up a little bit here as well: you can get free pearls from the game! You don’t have a ton of options here either, but it goes pretty well hand in hand with the ranks you’re climbing through and it is better than nothing, so it’s worth doing:

First, you can earn 5 pearls every 12 hours for free by watching a video ad in the Store.

Second, after each game that you complete (be it friendly or PvP) and without your ranking to matter at all, you can watch a video ad for 3 extra pearls. You won’t always get the option of additional pearls (sometimes it will be upgrades or other things), but on most occasions you’ll get premium currency.

Now, having in mind that you need 50 of them to go for a Royal Grab, you can understand that it won’t be easy, but it’s free at least so you have some options. Take advantage of them and you will unlock all the crabs in the game faster than the others.
