Is Granblue Fantasy Relink Multiplayer?

Is Granblue Fantasy Relink Multiplayer?

The short answer and direct answer is yes, but there’s a catch. Granblue Fantasy Relink is a Multiplayer game that players can play with friends and random players over the internet. 

However, unlike most multiplayer RPGs where players are given access to the online play feature right after completing the prologue or, at max, progressing through the first few hours of the game, as per the developers, Granblue Fantasy Relink is a game whose story you should experience solo with NPC teammates. 

As a result, the multiplayer feature in the game unlocks once you complete the main story. So, if you were waiting to play the game’s story with your friends, sadly, you cannot do that. But rest assured, the multiplayer feature, which is there for experiencing the end-game content with your friends and other players, is just pure perfect. 

We are saying this based on our experience with the recent Granblue Fantasy Relink beta that was exclusively released on the PS4 and PS5 platforms following the game’s new showcase video from Cygames last week. 

Moreover, during the showcase, we also learnt that Granblue Fantasy Relink will be getting post-launch content, mostly end-game, for free, which is excellent news for players looking for a new challenge to tackle along with their friends.
