Can you Play Dark and Darker Demo Multiplayer?

The 4th Alpha Playtest of Dark and Darker is PvPvE, meaning you can play the game even with friends. You can create a team with two other players and then explore dangerous dungeons together. Unfortunately, the Demo version doesn’t allow players to gather in the more extensive team, but this function will likely appear when the game is finally released.

Talking about the size of the lobby, up to 18 people can be in the same dungeon simultaneously. Also, there is an exception – a High-Roller map. Here only 12 players can be simultaneously.

How Much Time Does Alpha Playtest #4 Last?

If you want to enjoy Dark and Darker with friends, take into account that you have only two days to do it. Alpha Playtest #4 lasts from February 6 to February 13. After that, the game will temporarily disappear from Steam.

In addition to multiplayer mode, the latest Alpha Playtest also features various helpful mechanics. New cosmetics items, new ore and items for craft, Short Sword, in-game voice chat, and other features are available in Dark and Darker. Even though the game works laggy and is not balanced yet, it is enough to enjoy surviving with friends.
