Getting 5 star heroes in Idle Heroes (and afterwards, even rarer ones) is extremely important for those who want to keep their performances in top shape in the game. However, getting 5 star heroes is not easy and although there are many methods to do so without spending money, it’s better to have a complete guide to all the potential ways of getting them.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about in today’s article: how to get 5 star heroes in Idle Heroes if you are a free-to-play player or you only want to spend as little real money as possible.
Before getting started, don’t forget that we have also created a complete guide for beginners which can be checked out here. Now let’s see how to get 5 star heroes in Idle Heroes easily.
Register your account
The easiest way to get a 5 star hero in the game as soon as you start playing is by registering your account in the game. You will need to provide your email address, but you will instantly get 5-star Norma, which is a really good hero especially early on and all the way to the mid-game
This is the main way of getting 5 star heroes in Idle Heroes. You get one free Heroic Summon every 2 days, but you don’t have the guarantee of getting a rare hero with each draw.
This is why it’s essential to save up for the 10 draw. You will need 2,200 diamonds in order to get it, but this gives you a discount of 300 diamonds and increases the chances of you drawing 5 star heroes. I think the minimum you can get is 1 rare hero, but if you are really lucky, this 10 draw can give you 2-3 five star heroes which will prove extremely helpful in the long run.
You receive various rewards for logging in daily and every now and then you will get shards for summoning a 5-star hero. These chance on a month to month basis and the heroes offered are not usually the best in the game, but they’re still better than a 4 star hero and below. So make sure that you log in each day until you get your rare hero!
Tower of Oblivion
You can also unlock rare heroes from the Tower of Oblivion, when you reach certain stages. This is pretty difficult to do because as you go up the levels, the difficulty of the battle increases a lot, but it’s something that you will do eventually. So make sure that you don’t forget about the Tower of Oblivion, as there are some 5-star heroes to be won there!
Chances of getting 5 star heroes from this tree are slim, but they exist. So whenever you get a chance to get a shard for a summon here (by purchasing them from the marketplace or getting them from completing Tavern quests), go on and summon!
The best thing here is that you can select what type of hero to get, by selecting the Faction you want to draw from. The Dark and Light faction offer the slimmest chances of getting a rare hero (4% for 5-star hero and 28% for shards), while all the other faction have a 9% chance of getting a hero and 24% chance of getting shards for a 5-star one.
Being in a guild – and a successful one, that is – rewards you with shards that can eventually be spend on unlocking 5 star heroes from the Guild’s marketplace. These are extremely expensive and require a lot of dedication, so you will most likely spend a lot of time getting there (since there are other guild upgrades to spend your shards for), but know that you can potentially get rare heroes from your Guild too.
You can simply create 5 and 6 star heroes at the Creation Circle. You will need a ton of Heroes in order to do so – and only specific ones work, but it’s doable especially if you are active in the game.
Since you can create many heroes there, it’s a good idea to make sure that you check out the requirements for all the rare heroes there and lock the ones needed for fusing to make sure that you don’t accidentally sacrifice them at the altar.
These would be all the methods you can use in the game to get more 5 star heroes. Did you find other ways to get them that we have not covered? Let us know by commenting below!
