In case you missed it, we also have a general progression guide on Hybrid Warrior, so be sure to check that out as well!

How to Dismantle

Dismantling can be through through the “Hero” tab. Any monster parts that you don’t want or are outdated you can dismantle to receive elemental essences. These essences are used in a variety of processes, including mixing new potions and crafting new parts, so you should dismantle as much as possible!

Here’s a little tip: before you head down into the dungeon, you can turn on auto-dismantle for lower rarity monster parts. This saves you time as you won’t have to constantly manually dismantle parts, so be sure to use it!

Improving Potions

Potions are consumable items that you can bring with you into the dungeon. They can help you go further than you normally can, as potions can help restore your health, increase your attack power, weaken your enemies, and more.

You have to brew potions before you can use them, and brewing them costs essences. As you progress through the dungeon and level up, you’ll unlock new potions to brew. Potions can also be upgraded to increase their potency, and you do this by brewing the same kind of potion over and over again. Once you’ve brewed enough of them, the potion will level up and become stronger.

As you can probably guess, you need lots of essences in order to brew enough potions, so dismantling is the key to getting good at alchemy.

Filling out the Research Journal

The research journal can be accessed through the “Log” button at the top of the screen. Here, the game will keep track of all the monster parts you’ve dismantled thus far. When you first dismantle a part from a monster you’ve never seen before, its percentage in the journal will increase.

Continue to dismantle parts from that same monster until its research reaches 100% and you will unlock the ability to craft that monster’s parts. You’ll even gain 5 gems for your troubles!

To craft monster parts, go into the “Hero” tab and tap on the “Craft” tab. You cannot choose to craft a specific body part, you can only choose the monster you want parts of and then the game will randomly give you one of the six body parts. This is helpful if you’re trying to construct a specific build that needs certain parts.

Dismantling Gear

You can also dismantle unused gear, and you should do so to get precious upgrade stones. Upgrade stones can be used to enhance your favorite gear, and you should only spend them on higher rarity gear. Don’t bother enhancing the low rarity gear as it will get outclassed very quickly.

Another reason for this is that new gear is generally hard to come by, so you should be really careful with your upgrade stones.

Upgrading the Glove

If you like to assist your warrior in battle, upgrading the glove is a good idea too. To upgrade the glove you need threads, which are rarely obtained whenever you dismantle monster parts. The higher rarity the parts, the better chance you’ll get threads. Equip the best monster parts you have, then dismantle the rest and hope for the best!

That covers just about everything you need to know about dismantling. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
