Using the Empty Obsidian Vial in World of Warcraft
There are many vault doors that you can open in the Zskera Vaults. To open a vault door, you need Zskera Vault Keys, and you start with six of them after completing the introductory quest.
These vaults have unique treasures within, so try to open as many as you can. Be careful, as some rooms have elemental traps that you must deal with before they can be explored safely.
One type of room is basically a freezer, as the entire room is encased in a thick ice. The second you step in, you start taking heavy frost damage, so you need to find a way to defrost the room.

The first step is to find an Empty Obsidian Vial, which is sturdy enough to contain a raging fire. Empty Obsidian Vials look like sparkling blue vials lying on the ground, and they can be found randomly throughout the vaults. Keep opening vault doors until you find one.
Next, we must seek out a powerful flame to melt the ice. Keep exploring more vaults until you find an Empowering Flame, which looks like a jar with a fire inside. Use the Empty Obsidian Vial on the Empowering Flame to receive a Vial of Flames.
Return to the frozen room and toss the Vial of Flames inside to instantly melt all the ice. You can now explore the vault safely and claim the treasure.
Defrosting the ice rooms is the main usage of the Empty Obsidian Vials, but there is another secret use that nets you a new companion.
One type of vault contains what seems to be an alchemy lab, with potion stands and cauldrons scattered about. One of the cauldrons contains a glowing blue liquid, and you can use the Empty Obsidian Vial on it to receive Restorative Water.
Look for a vault that has water all over the floor and an Unkept Aquarium. Use the Restorative Water on the aquarium to bring it back to life, including the fish! You can pick up the fish to learn how to summon a new companion.
