Evil forces are after your Ring, so you must learn how to utilize it to its full potential. Today, we’ll show you how to upgrade your Ring in The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War!

How to Upgrade Your Ring

In order to upgrade your Ring, you’ll need to feed it energy from the land. Whenever you clear a land tile on the map, you’ll notice a little blue flame appears over it—this is Ring Energy. Tap on it to collect it, and it’ll be stored away temporarily, as indicated by the counter in the bottom left corner.

The tiles you claim for your kingdom will generate Ring Energy over time. Normal tiles will only generate a bit of Ring Energy per hour, but specific tiles will generate a lot. Be sure to check in with the game occasionally to collect any Ring Energy that has accumulated. You can check your current Ring Energy production rate per hour by the number near the top of the screen.

Your temporary Ring Energy is in the bottom left corner, right next to the Ring. Tap on it to transfer the Energy into your Ring to turn it into Ring Power. Open your Ring menu, and you should now see the Ring Power button in the bottom right corner highlighted. You can tap on this button to infuse the power into your Ring, and once you have enough Ring Power, your Ring will level up and gain a Tech Point!

You can spend Tech Points on any ability in the Ring skill tree, granting you additional passive bonuses and the like. The Ring abilities affect all parts of your kingdom, including production, infrastructure, commanders, and more. It’s best to keep your Ring up-to-date if you want to stay competitive!
