But since the upgrade is associated with a quest from a specific NPC, many players find it hard to upgrade the Watering Can. How To Upgrade Watering Can In Disney Dreamlight Valley

When writing this article, there are two upgrades for the Watering Can tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley. And you can get both upgrades by simply progressing and completing Merlin’s Friendship quests. 

The first upgrade for the Watering Can temporarily unlocks during the A New Enchantment quest and becomes permanent when you complete Merlin’s “A Dark Experiment.” The first upgrade of the Watering Can allows you to remove small Mushrooms found around the Dream Valley. 

The second upgrade for the Watering Can unlocks when you complete Merlin’s “The Final Trial” quest. After that, you can remove the big Mushrooms found around the Dream Valley. You will need both upgrades for the Watering Can tool to clear areas, open paths, and other similar reasons. 

While progressing Merlin’s Friendship Quest, you must level up the Friendship Level with him. Or else, you won’t get new Friendship quests. So, make sure to gift Merlin’s favorite items, hang out with him, and do other things to keep leveling the Friendship Level.
