Once you have the said items, you can go and talk to the NPC called Jinwu and select the option “Refine the Adjuvant” to upgrade the Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget.

After you have leveled up the gadget to a certain point—you will unlock the Blooming Light ability for the Lumenstone Adjuvant gadget that allows you to get rid of Oozing Concretion and Dark Mud.
