How to Unlock Eschaton Staff Safe in Dead Island 2

The Eschaton Staff Safe is one of the two lockers found in the Hollywood Boulevard area of Dead Island 2 that players can find and unlock only after completing the game’s main story. 

Now that is just one requirement; the main task is finding the correct zombie that holds the key that you can use to unlock the Eschaton Staff Safe. Since there are no markers or hints on where to find this particular zombie, unlocking the Eschaton Staff Safe becomes daunting.

How to Unlock Echaton Staff Safe in Dead Island 2

You can unlock the Eschaton Staff Safe using the “Eschaton Safe Key” dropped by a special Shocking Screamer-type zombie called Eschaton Doctor. 

Now, you might be wondering where to find this Eschaton Doctor. Thankfully, you don’t have to change locations, as you can find the Eschaton Doctor special zombie inside the “Hollywood Blvd.” metro. 

Here is a map screenshot that shares the exact location of the Eschaton Doctor:

To reach the above location, go to the entrance of the metro where the helicopter was parked during the last mission. From there, descend the metro until you reach the central area, where you can find the Eschaton Doctor around some regular zombies.

You won’t miss Eschaton Doctor, as he makes a lot of noise while unleashing lightning bolts around him, which makes spotting him easier. That said, once you defeat the said enemy, pick up the Eschaton Safe Key and head to the player icon location as shown in the below map screenshot:

Once you reach there, you will find the Eschaton Staff Safe that you can now unlock using the acquired key to get rewards, including 901 Cash and a Superior Ranged Electrocutor Mod.
