Taking high-scoring photos in New Pokémon Snap is not as simple as it may sound. Sure, many of the Pokémon found in the Lental region are not bursting with energy running around from one place to another, but some of them do, making it difficult sometimes to get a good shot.
There is a way, however, to make it easier to take pictures of these fast moving Pokémon in New Pokémon Snap. To be able to do so, however, you will have to put in quite a bit of work.
Here’s how to unlock Burst Mode in New Pokémon Snap and how it makes your life easier.
How To Unlock Burst Mode In New Pokémon Snap
Burst Mode is a new shutter mode for your Camera in New Pokémon Snap that will only become available to you once you complete the game. To unlock it, you will have to watch the credits roll, and to get to his point, you will need to unlock the Ruins of Remembrance and take a picture of Xerneas, which is effectively considered as the game’s final boss.
The Legendary Pokémon will not appear in all of its glory in the Ruins of Remembrance as soon as you enter them, however. To make it appear, you must first hit it first with Illumina Orbs. Once he appears, get your camera ready and take the most legendary of photos!
What Does Burst Mode Do In New Pokémon Snap?
Once you have completed the game’s story mode, you can finally enable Burst Mode for your camera. All you need to do is enter the Settings menu and choose Burst Mode. Once you pick the Burst Mode option, you will be asked to pick a different number of photos – 3, 4, or 6. This is the number of photos your camera will take every time you press the shutter button. While this doesn’t look very effective on paper, it actually is pretty handy, as it makes it easier to take high-scoring photos of those Pokémon that move around quickly.
