Compared to Hardmode, the Pre-Hardmode is a rather blissful time. However, some of the bosses can be tricky to defeat. One of these bosses is Queen Bee that spawns in the Underground Jungle.
Defeating Queen Bee is completely optional. However, if you manage to beat the Queen Bee, you will get useful items like Bee Gun, Bee’s Knees, Beenade, and Bee Keeper.

Queen Bee can summoned by consuming the Abeemination. Alternatively, she can also be summoned by destroying the larva in Bee Hive. So, summoning the boss is not a difficult task.
Abeemination can be crafted by using five Hives. Meanwhile, depending on the world, a Bee Hive can 2 or more Larvae. Destroying these would summon the Queen Bee.
Queen Bee’s stings are poisonous and will eventually lower your HP. You have to dodge these attacks at all costs. She also spawns a horde of Bee Minions.
Ranged weapons are a great choice for this boss battle. The piercing damage done by the arrows will also keep the minions in check. Alternatively, you can use guns like the musket and minishark.
