Genshin Impact’s Moonlight Merriment event is currently underway. In this event, players can get involved in various activities that range from quests, finding oculi-like items called Moonchase Charm, doing short skirmishes to get Moonlight Merriment event festive fever, and much more.

How to Start Moonchase Festival Moonlight Merriment Event
To start Genshin Impact’s latest event, Moonlight Merriment, players must be at Adventure Rank 28 or above. They must also complete the “A New Star Approaches” and “Mondstadt’s Gastronomy Trip” quests.
Once players are past the eligibility criteria, they can start the Moonlight Merriment event introductory quest, Moonlight Merriment Part I: One for the Foodies, Two for the Show. It introduces players to the Moonchase Tales questline that offers multiple quests related to the Moonchase Festival, the Culinary Showdown, and the Stove God.
Once players have completed the Moonlight Merriment Part I: One for the Foodies, Two for the Show quest, they have to complete another quest called The Many Matters of the Moonchase Festival.
This will introduce players to the Moonlight Seeker section of the Moonlight Merriment event. In this section, players have to find and collect Moonchase Charms and open Mystmoon Chests to receive rewards prepared by the Liyue Adventurer’s Guild.
One of the most sought-after rewards from the Moonlight Seeker section of the Moonlight Merriment event is the Luxurious Sea-Lord Claymore weapon.
