While Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is basically still an hack and slash game where your actual skills matter as much as preparation, there will be times when just swinging a sword or lance around will not be enough to win battles.
After a confrontation with the enemy, both you and your fellow officers suffer casualties, and you will have to restore your army’s strength to prepare for your next Offensive Battle, as well as to be ready in case a neighboring kingdom decides to invade your territories.
Here’s how to restore your army’s strength and all the options at your disposal.
How to Restore Your Army’s Strength in Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires
Restoring your army’s strength in Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is quite straightforward, but the options available to you may be limited by your current role in your faction.
To restore the strength of any army, yours or that of a fellow officer, you need to pick the Military Affairs option during a turn. In this menu, you will find Recruitment, Great Recruitment and Full Recruitment options, which restore the strength of any army by different amounts in exchange for gold. The more the option restores an army’s strength, the higher the gold cost will be.
Armies’ strength can also be restored with the Conscription and Great Conscription options. While these may be effective, when it comes to restored strength, they will impact your reputation, reducing your Benevolent stat and increasing Evil.
If you have a limited amount of resources, or if you want to use your time for something else, you should always look into keeping up the strength of the armies located in territories that border with other kingdoms, as these territories are more likely to have to deal with an invasion. In case you defense level is too low, and you want to take things into your hands, it’s the officers stationed in these territories that will follow you in battle.
