Growing your own combat plants and potion ingredients is a great way to save some money as some of those prices at local vendors’ can be exorbitant. Still, when you can only have 7 potting tables in total, you will have to do some strategizing to meet all your Herbology needs.

While it should be easy to un-conjure any item you want in the Room of Requirement, the process for removing potting tables isn’t so straightforward. In this Hogwarts Legacy guide, we will show you how to remove potting tables in the Room of Requirement in no time.

Why You Need to Remove Potting Tables in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy

When you finally get access to the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, you probably won’t be able to buy all the seeds and the biggest potting tables—those with three or five pots. It costs quite a lot of Galleons to get all eight plants and at least one of the different small, medium, and large potting tables.

By the time you collect enough money to get the most expensive and most practical Herbology spellcrafts, you will most likely have reached that annoying limit. As it makes more sense to have a table with five pots instead of the one where you can grow only two or three, you will probably want to un-conjure your existing tables and add those bigger ones.

You equip Evanesco, the vanishing spell, approach the table, and raise your wand, but when you cast the spell, you just get the message that the table is in use. Even when you grow the plant and collect it, the growing cycle begins anew and the table seems to constantly be in use. So, how can you un-conjure the smaller potting tables and replace them with bigger ones then?

To remove potting tables in the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to make sure they are not used for growing any plants first:

  1. Approach the table you want to remove
  2. Choose Inspect to check on your plants
  3. Remove the growing plant from the pot by hitting L3 on consoles or the PC keyboard equivalent—you will need to empty all the pots on the table you want to un-conjure
  4. Exit the potting table menu after you’re done removing the plants
  5. Cast Evanesco as you would normally do

The potting table will disappear, giving you your spent Moonstones back. Now you just need to use the Conjuring spell and place your new and bigger potting table in the old one’s place.

There you have it—a better and more practical Herbology station. Happy gardening, and don’t forget to come back to our dedicated Hogwarts Legacy section for more useful guides!
