Did you know that there is a way to obtain the heads of certain mobs in Minecraft? Unveiled in the Pretty Scary Update of 2012, mob heads have remained a rare and fascinating feature within the game. However, with the recent Trails & Tales update, Mojang has introduced a new addition to the collection: the Piglin mob head, which has left many players wondering whether there is a zombie variant as well. In this guide, we will talk about the zombie pigman head in Minecraft.

Zombie Pigman Head in Minecraft: All You Need to Know

Even though Mojang has added the Piglin mob head, there are no signs of a zombie variant. There is no way to obtain a Zombie Pigman head in vanilla Minecraft. However, if you really want to get a Zombie Pigman head, you can try installing mods or plugins if you are on a server. With Minecraft mob head mods, you can obtain the heads of any mob in the game.

As of now, you can only obtain the Piglin head in Minecraft. To get a Piglin head, you will have to bring a charged creeper close to a piglin and make it explode. When a piglin dies from a charged creeper explosion, it drops its head. However, this is easier said than done, as charged creepers are one of the most dangerous mobs in Minecraft and only spawn when a normal creeper is struck by lightning.

You can use a trident enchanted with Channeling to strike a creeper with thunder. Once you have a charged creeper ready, lure it into a Nether portal. It is highly recommended to have a piglin ready by the portal in the Nether. Once the charged creeper is close to the piglin, use a flint and steel to explode the charged creeper and obtain the Piglin head.

However, be careful, as a charged creeper has a wider range of explosion compared to a regular creeper. You can use the Blast Protection enchantment to have a better chance of surviving a charged creeper explosion. Once you have a Piglin head, you can use it as decoration or place it on a note block to play piglin noises.
