Pokemon Legends: Arceus encourages players to be good neighbors to their fellow researchers by creating a Lost and Found feature. When players battle Pokemon and lose, they faint and drop their satchel of items. Fortunately, other players can discover that satchel and get it back to the original owner in return for a reward of merit points. The person who finds the satchel does not get to keep any of the items in the satchel, but is instead rewarded with an in-game currency of merit points that they can spend at Simona’s Stall. Great news!
Getting Your Satchel Returned
As long as you are connected to the internet, you will have the chance to have your satchel returned. Playing offline is great for finding satchels lost by bot researchers, but you risk losing your items, as no NPC can return your satchel.
You receive a notification when your satchel has been returned, then check your storage in your house to see it has been returned. You cannot find your own satchel, unfortunately, but will just have to wait until another player has discovered it and returned it via the Lost and Found tab in the menu.
When players find a lost satchel, they gain between 50 and 100 merit points, so it is almost guaranteed that your satchel will be returned as soon as it is found. Those merit points can then be spent on evolution items at Simona’s Stall, also known as the Trading Post.
Players can also upgrade their satchel storage by visiting Bagin at the Galaxy Building and paying for extra storage all the way up to 59 slots (each slot holding 100s of the same item).
Good luck!
