You can get the Throwing Knife in Apex Legends when your team gets 25 kills in the Gun Run mode. Reaching the 26th kill will win you the match. And for that final kill, you will get the Throwing Knife.

You will spawn with a random weapon when you start the Gun Run game limited-time game mode in Apex Legends. As you kill opponents, you cycle through a set of weapons.
You can see which weapon you will get next on the right side of the screen and on the pseudo pause screen, where you can see all four-team scores, kills, and which weapon they are using.

When you and your team’s total kill reaches 25, you will get the Throwing Knife. And in case you just want to try out the Throwing Knife, you can select the Firing Range and head towards the Snipers section. Near the Kraber, you will find the Throwing Knife.
The Throwing Knife is a limited-time weapon that got added to the Beast of Prey Collection event of Apex Legend. The item will leave the game when the event comes to an end.
When Is Apex Legends Beast of Prey Event Ending?
Apex Legends Beast of Prey event will end on October 4, 2022. You still have around five days to use the Throwing Knife in Gun Run LTM and accumulate event points to get the free weapon skins and other rewards.
