Merge Mansion has a brand new seasonal event Joys of the Sea which runs between July 14 and July 26 2023. This event is full of sea-themed decor rewards to use around your mansion grounds which can be purchased with Sea Points earned by completing tasks. Joys of the Sea items in the event garage can be merged and upgraded to gain new items such as the Locked Trunk and Trunk Key. Let’s explore how to get this special item in Merge Mansion.

How to unlock the Trunk Key in Merge Mansion

The Merge Mansion Locked Trunk can be unlocked using the Trunk Key. This key is a drop item gained by merging certain items in the Event Garage during the Joys of the Sea event.

The Key is dropped by the Fishing Rod when it is merged up to level 8 and then fed a Big Fish Minnow to turn it into a Working Fishing Rod. This Fishing Rod is then tapped for the final time and drops the Key!

To access the Joys of the Sea event you have to be at least level 12 and then complete the first task to unlock the seasonal event Garage. Complete tasks to get points and earn decorative items!

The path to the Key goes as follows: Tackle Shop > Fishing Rod (L1) > Fishing Rod (L8) > Add Big Fish Minnow > Working Fishing Rod > Key

Merge the Key with the Locked Trunk to access 14 Diving Suit and Sea Life drops which are recharged ever 1 hour with a speed up cost of 7500 Gems. The Merge Mansion Unlocked Trunk transforms into a Kelp Leaf on its final tap!
