Merge Mansion is back with a new season event Joys of the Sea which is live between July 14 and July 26 2023. This event has cute decoration rewards to use around your mansion which are unlocked as you level up and bought with Sea Points. As usual with Merge Mansion events, Joys of the Sea items can be merged and upgraded to gain new items such as the Rubber Boot. Let’s explore how to get this coveted item in Merge Mansion.
How to unlock the Rubber Boot in Merge Mansion
The Merge Mansion Rubber Boot can be gained through the Joys of the Sea Garage during the seasonal event, or by visiting the Joys of the Sea Garage Shop in exchange for Coins or Gems. They cannot always be found in the Shop as only 6 random items are shown at any one time, and this resets every 12 hours. You can, of course, spend Gems on refreshing the Shop if you want the chance to see the Rubber Boot there, but to be honest I don’t think it is worth spending the Gems.

To access the Joys of the Sea event you have to be at least level 12 and then complete the first task to unlock the seasonal event Garage. Complete tasks to get points and earn decorative items! One of the tasks will involve getting Fishing Attire, part of which is the Rubber Boot. The Rubber Boot is the first level of the Fishing attire which can be merged up to level 8, after which it will drop Sea Life.
The path to the Rubber Boot Fishing Attire goes as follows: Mason’s Drawer > Spawning Kit > Tackle Box > Fishing Attire (Rubber Boot).
Once you level up your Fishing Attire to level 5 it will drop an XP Star and Sea Life 6 times per recharge and recharges every 30 minutes. The speed up cost for this item is 788 Gems! This makes the Merge Mansion Fishing Attire not really as useful as a resource as other items so only merge them to complete a task if you need to.
