The best you can do is visit each location one by one, and if one of those locations has the Gun Van, it will appear on your mini-map when you are near it.

Though the current Gun Van location alternates between the 30 spawn locations, it is the same for everyone.
To put it in more simple words, suppose you are in a GTA Online session with your friends, Crew Members, or others. You can split the spawn locations for the Gun Van between yourselves so that each member of the group visits some of them. When a friend finds the Van, he can notify everyone else.
