Spikes are Ground type TM, which have some unique effects. You can drop a Spikes at the feet of the opposing team and damage Pokemon. If you put 1 layer of Spikes, it can damage 12.5% of max HP, 2 layers damage 16% of max HP, and 3 or more layers damage 25% max HP.

Put more layers to kill your enemies faster! This TM is useless to Pokemon with Levitate ability. They can dodge this damage. However, some Pokemon can use certain moves and delete your Spikes in the process of marh. So, don`t forget that!
How To Get Spikes (TM090) in Scarlet and Violet
Spikes (TM090) are a yellow poke ball-shaped item in the Pokemon Overworld. This TM has some locations where you can find it. You can find it next to a rock in the northern part of the Asado Desert near the ruins.
You can craft your copy of Spikes using TM Machine. You need some resources to do this:
- 3000 LP
- Qwilfish Spines x3
- Pincurchin Spines x3
