With this guide, you can learn all there is to know about how to get the Spectral Blade boss weapon in Remnant 2.

The Spectral Blade is one of the boss weapons in Remnant 2 that comes with a pre-installed mod. In this case, it’s Whirlwind, which you can use to release a whirlwind of slashes in a large AoE, making it one of the best, if not the best, melee weapon for mob control.

In Remnant 2, you can obtain the Spectral Blade by defeating the Sha’Hala: Spectral Guardian of N’Erud at the Sentinel’s Keep location. Once that is done, the boss drops an item called the Eidolon Shard, which is required to craft the Spectral Blade.

Once you have the Eidolon Shard on you, head back to Ward 13 and talk to McCabe inside the warehouse. Select the “Can you craft me something” dialogue option to open the crafting menu. There, you can select and proceed with crafting the Spectral Blade

Apart from the Eidolon Shard, crafting the Spectral Blade requires:

  • x7 Lumenite Crystal
  • x650 Scrap

That said, remember that the world boss, Sha’Hala, doesn’t always drop the Eidolon Shard. Since the world of Remnant 2 is mostly procedurally generated, you may get a different version of N’Erud with a different ending.

In our multiple playthroughs so far, we have encountered two endings: one where you use the Seeker’s Key to reach the Sentinel’s Keep and fight Sha’Hala, getting the Alepsis Taura ending, and another one where you use the Override Pin at the terminal in Sentinel’s Keep and then fight Sha’Hala.

The first route gives you the Eidolon Shard required for crafting the Spectral Blade. Meanwhile, the latter rewards you with the Void Cinder item for crafting the Aphelion Long Gun.
