The Hoarfrost Core is a character ascension material in Genshin Impact used to ascend playable characters like Qiqi, Ganyu, Chongyun, Diona, and Kaeya. At the time of writing this article, there is only one way of obtaining the Hoarfrost Core in Genshin Impact, and that is via Cryo Regisvines.
Genshin Impact players can get Hoarfrost Core as a drop loot from the Cryo Regisvine boss. To get the Hoarfrost Core drop, Cryo Regisvine’s level must be 30 or more. Though, players should not worry, as even in World Level 0, the Cryo Regisvine boss level scales till LVL 36.
Genshin Impact’s Cryo Regisvine boss arena is located in in-between Falcon Coast and Thousand Winds Temple. Travel to the player icon location as shown in above Genshin Impact map.
Defeat the Cryo Regisvine and you will get Hoarfrost Core. For ascending Rosaria to max character ascension level, players will need around 46 Hoarfrost Core. So, now is the best time to farm Hoarfrost Core for Rosaria and other future Cryo characters.
