The Fly TM can be used to unlock an important move that you can teach your Pokémon in the game. A lot of players have repeated the process in Scarlet and Violet many times already. So in this guide, we’re showing you how to get Fly (TM097) in Scarlet and Violet.

How To Get Fly (TM097) in Scarlet and Violet

In Scarlet and Violet, players do not collect TMs exclusively but rather craft them collecting a variety of different materials all across Paldea depending on the move they wish to create. The Fly move has become one of the most sought-after move amongst trainers.

So to craft Fly TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll have to collect feathers from bird Pokémon. And to do this you’ll need to battle and defeat the likes of Squawkabilly, Bombirdier, and Rufflet to collect their feathers.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need 5,000 LP (League Points), 3 Squawkabilly Feathers, 3 Bombirdier Feathers, and 3 Rufflet Feathers to craft the Fly TM097 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. When you’ve crafted the Fly TM, you can then teach your Pokémon the move which will allow it to soar the skies.

Like finding many other TMs, the Fly TM also has a pretty challenging craft process. However, once you’ve figured out where feathers spawn, you may not necessarily have to battle the aforementioned bird Pokémons to get them. League Points, on the other hand, will not be easy to gather.

You can get League Points depending on the storyline you choose to play in the game. Starfall Street bosses, for instance, will reward you with thousands of LP points whenever you battle one and win. But if you don’t wish to go the Starfall route, there are other ways of getting LP points. One of which involves gathering materials from other Pokémons you defeat across Paldea and exchanging those materials for LP points.
