And with that, we have players who have been encountering the ‘Failed to Log in to 2K Sports’ error while linking their platform to the MyNBA2K23 app to use the latest face scan feature. At the time of writing this article, there is no fix to the MyNBA2K23 app not working, ‘Failed to Log in to 2K Sports’ issue. The error arises when players try to link the platform they play NBA2K23 to the MyNBA2K23 app to use the face scan feature.

After installing the MyNBA2K23 app on the Android or iOS platform, to use the face scan feature, players must link their Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo accounts to the app. Only then players can make full use of the MyNBA2K23 app. And its face scan feature to begin their journey in the latest installment of the NBA2K23 franchise. 

However, during the third step of linking the respective platform accounts to the MyNBA2K23 app, players get the error message ‘Failed to Log in to 2K Sports.’ The error is from the developer’s side, and from the looks of it, it’s a server-related issue.

We have tried general troubleshooting steps like restarting the router, re-installing the MyNBA2K23 app, clearing the cache, and turning off VPNs and proxies. But, none of them seems to fix the MyNBA2K23 app not working, ‘Failed to Log in to 2K Sports’ issue. 

So, for now, we recommend players wait till the devs fix the issue from their end. As for us, we are keeping a close eye on the matter, and we will update you as soon as there’s a working fix. 

NBA2K23 is currently available on the PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
