  • Ensure your launcher is set to High Priority – Open Task Manager, scroll to find your launcher and right-click on your programme. Select Set Priority and select High.
  • Close Unnecessary Programmes – Get rid of any other programmes you are running and might be taking up valuable CPU. This should speed up the load significantly if you have lots of things running in the background.
  • Check Your Storage – As well as decent CPU, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes up a lot of space on your hard drive. There needs to be at least 150 GB to get it all running!
  • Check For Drive Errors – It may seem obvious but it is always good to check that everything is error-free. Scan for potential errors by starting up File Explorer, selecting your launcher (Steam, Epic, EA) and select Properties. Next select Tools and run to check for errors.
  • Restart – When in doubt, do as the IT Crowd would do and turn it off and on again. A good old fashioned restart can fix so many issues when it comes to gaming and computers! Shut the launch down and restart, or even go as far as restarting your whole PC. Sometimes we all need a kick start, and games are no different.

The hope is that one of the tips above will fix a slow unpack, if all else fails it is good to check your system is powerful enough to run Jedi Survivor. Find more Star Wars guides in our dedicated section. May the force be with you!
