The Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update introduces a lot of new content to the game, such as the ability to go on Boat Tours with Kapp’n, take a break at the Roost and help Harv renovate his island with new shops and services.
Among the many shops that can be opened on Harv’s Island in the 2.0 update is Harriet’s Hair Salon. Here’s how to open it as quickly as possible.
How to Find Harriet’s Hair Salon in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Before you can open Harriet’s Hair Salon and use its services, you will need to install the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update and have a 3 Star Island to receive a letter from Harv inviting you to his island.
Once you receive the letter, head over to the island’s new area to find Harv, who will inform you of his plans of turning this area into a bustling shopping area. As you might have expected, he will need your help setting up shops, or rather Bells, as you will need to donate 100,000 Bells to open each shop.
The only exception to this rule is Harriet’s Hair Salon, which will be opened for free once at least one other shop has opened in the plaza. Pick a shop, donate the required amount of Bells, wait for a day to pass, and speak to Harriet: both the shop you have donated Bells to and Harriet’s Hair Salon will be open for business!
How Many New Hairstyles Are in Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0?
Once Harriet’s Hair Salon is open, you can use its services to get a new hairstyle once per day. If you do not like it, you can pick the “Oh no…” option to revert it to your regular style while unlocking the new one.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 features seven new hairstyles, which are unlocked by using the Hair Salon’s services. Once all seven have been unlocked, the Hair Salon will close down for good, and Harriet will start roaming around the plaza.
