The first step is to locate the Ancient City. The Biome where the Ancient City can be found is called Deep Dark. These structures are usually found in the negative Y coordinates between -30 and -50, often covering hundreds of blocks. If you’re lucky, you may even find one at Spawn.

TIP: Remember that Ancient Cities tend to generate under the new mountain biomes, such as Jagged Peaks or Snowy Slopes. Alternatively, you can use specific seeds where Ancient Cities appear at Spawn.

Exploring the Ancient City

After finding it, research it. However, be warned that the Ancient City is very harmful and inhabited by Wardens, extremely powerful nasty mobs.

Tips: To avoid detection by Sculk Sensors and Sculk Shriekers, remember these important hints:

• Do not approach or break Sculk blocks.
• Keep a distance of at least 10 blocks from them.
• Move around only in a crouching position.
