How to Farm Weapon Upgrade Materials in Triangle Strategy

Triangle Strategy features a very interesting weapon upgrade system that requires players to use materials obtained during battles to improve any weapon’s combat performance.

If you just stick with the materials found during main story battles, however, you will not be able to upgrade most weapons a whole lot, so you will need to farm these materials to unlock each character’s full potential.

Here’s how to farm these weapon upgrade items as effectively as possible.

How to Farm Weapon Upgrade Materials in Triangle Strategy

Weapon upgrade items in Triangle Strategy can be purchased from the Tradepost and the regular Shop, but they are available in limited numbers. As such, the only way to get enough materials to upgrade most of your units’ weapons is to farm them in Mock Battles.

While many of the Mock Battles include these materials as reward for completing them, you can get quite a few of them if you play your cards right. Each defeated enemy has a set chance of dropping spoils, chance that can be increased by equipping the Golden Pinkie Ring. If you’re fighting against weak enemies, it is a good idea to equip the ring to Frederica, Narve, or any other spellcaster, as they can easily hit multiple enemies with their spells. Do note that you will also have to pick the spoils to get items at the end of the battle, so do not leave them on the ground.

Unfortunately, spoils in Triangle Strategy are entirely randomized, so there is no way of telling which items you have obtained until the end of the fight. There is a way to tell, however, if spoils on the ground include coins, items, or medals. White spoils are coins, Blue spoils are items, and Gold spoils are medals, so you can choose to ignore any of them if they do not include the items you are trying to farm.
