SaGa Frontier Remastered

Like in most role-playing games, earning money is very important in SaGa Frontier Remastered. As you can recruit a lot of different characters, keeping them equipped with all the latest gear will require a lot of money.

In the original PlayStation release, SaGa Frontier Remastered featured a few exploits that allowed players to obtain an insane amount of money very quickly. These exploits haven’t been fixed in the remaster, so both can be used in the new version of the game to truly become filthy rich and purchase everything you see in shops.

Here’s how to farm money in SaGa Frontier Remastered

How To Farm Money In SaGa Frontier Remastered

Junk Shop Method

While in the Scrap, you can access the Junkyard by speaking to the three lizards in the area, who will let you pick three different items for the price of 600 credits. Pick the items, head back to the lizards, choose the selling option, press the confirm button twice and then leave the menu. Now, you will be able to pick seven items from the garbage dump: head back to the lizards, repeat the process until you have obtained enough money to buy whatever you need. Make sure to not leave the Junkyard before you are satisfied, otherwise you will have to pay again to access the garbage dump.

This method can be a little time consuming, as the items you get from the garbage dump are randomized, but there is no faster way to farm money at the beginning of the game.

Gold Ingot Method

Once you have made some progress, and you can travel to Koorong and Nelson, you can use the Gold Ingot exploit to earn massive amounts of money. You will need around 10,000 credits to begin, but you will make them back in a very short amount of time.

Once you have the needed credits, head to the pub in Nelson and speak with the man who is selling Gold Ingots for 500 credits. Buy as many as you can, then head to Koorong. Here, enter the first building you find coming from the port and speak with the man buying Gold Ingots. Start selling your Gold Ingots, and you will notice that the price starts rising as you sell more of them. Head back to Nelson to purchase more Gold Ingots, then rinse and repeat until you have earned all the money you need.
