How to Easily Beat Seeker Soldiers in Valheim

Seeker Soldiers can be very annoying to deal with, especially early on in the game. With that said, if you follow our guide on how to easily beat Seeker Soldiers in Valheim, you are going to have a much smoother fighting experience. Seeker Soldiers Location

There are a couple of places where you can encounter the Seeker Soldiers. One of these places is within the Infested Mines. The other is in the Mistlands. They can appear randomly anywhere in that area. These monsters are very much like the soldier ants in terms of their behavior, as they protect eggs and larvae.

How to Easily Beat Seeker Soldiers in Valheim

Seekers soldiers resemble large insect creatures and they are highly durable. Taking them down can be tricky if you don’t know what you are doing. They are resistant to “Pierce”, and because of that, they take 50% less damage than a target who has neutral resistance to this type of damage. With that said, they do have some weaknesses that you can exploit in order to eliminate them fast. First things first, their rear end is their weak spot. They take extra damage if they get hit there. They are also awful at dealing with uneven terrain surfaces.

Considering everything that we’ve mentioned above, elemental arrow attacks are by far the best way of dealing with this type of creature.

Because of the range of an arrow attack, what you can do is this:

• Without being noticed by the monster, get directly behind it, so you can aim its rear end.
• Release your attack and hit its weak spot (the pink area under the armor).
• This will deal a lot of extra damage to the creature, plus an additional sneak attack bonus.

Of course, it doesn’t mean that this is not the only way of killing Seeker Soldiers. A very common strategy is by ‘Parrying’ the monster. Parrying deals double damage, so it can work. The downside of this strategy is that it takes time, and of course, the monster will be aware of you before you even land your first attack.
