How to get rid of Wildwasps in Fortnite

Wildwasps will follow you and continue to sting until you can get rid of them. If you find yourself at the mercy of a swarm of Wildwasps, there are two things you can do to get them off your tail: you could walk, run, or slide into gooey mud, or you can jump into water. Either of these methods will save you from Wildwasp attacks.

How to get and use Wildwasps in Fortnite

Wildwasps occur in swarms in the forest areas of the Fortnite map and can be caught in jars, much like Fireflies. Visit Shady Stilts, Creeky Compound, or Rumble Ruins to find Wildwasps in the wild! To capture them, all you need to do is approach them like you would Fireflies, but it’s necessary to time it just right, or they could swarm you instead! There is also an Augment that gives you a few Wildwasp Jars, plus more with every elimination.

To use the Wildwasp Jars, aim like you would any throwable item, then throw! The wasps will swarm the other player, dealing 15 damage every few seconds. If you get a direct hit with the jar, you get even more damage dealt. The best place to attack others with these Wildwasps would be away from water and in areas away from the mud slides and mud pools around the Fortnite map. Throw a few jars and watch your opponent panic!
