Hogwarts Legacy offers an engaging combat system in which you can get hooked and spend countless hours devising new attack combos and other such things. But as fun as the combat is in the game, the enemies are also challenging and can drain your HP with a few attacks—some foes can even take you down in one hit.

As a result, you must craft and hoard Health Potions, aka Wiggenweld Potions, in Hogwarts Legacy, as it gives you a chance to heal your character and increase your survival chance. In this guide, you can learn how to unlock Potion Crafting in Hogwarts Legacy and craft Healing Potions.

To craft Health Potions in Hogwarts Legacy, you must progress the game story until you get a story quest called “Potions Class.”

Once that happens, make your way to the Potions Classroom in The Library Annex at Hogwarts and start the “Potions Class” quest. During the quest, Professor Sharp introduces you to the basics of Potioncraft. And guess what? The first Potion that you brew is none other than the Wiggenweld Potion.

Complete the quest, and then you can craft the Health Potions as much as you want, granted you have the following ingredients:

  • Horklump Juice x1
  • Dittany Leaves x1

Assuming you are in the early game and haven’t yet unlocked the Room of Requirement, whenever you want to craft Potions, go to the Potions Classroom and interact with the Potion Station.

Doing so will open up the Potion Brewing menu, where you can select Wiggenweld Potion and craft it.
