How to Complete White Glyph Challenge in Dead by Daylight

Glyphs in Dead By Daylight are a challenge feature added in the Archive. Once completed, they give you Bloodpoints and Rift Fragments to help you level up. There are six different coloured Glyphs: Green, Red, Purple, Blue, Yellow, and White. One Glyph is for the Killer only (Purple) and Blue, Yellow, and White are for Survivor only, while Green and Red Glyphs can be completed by either player type. Green and Red Glyphs are the easiest, as all Survivors (or Killers) have to do is find it and interact with it. Blue Glyphs must be interacted with and then the Survivor must escape, and the survivor becomes blind and oblivious for 60s. Yellow are tricky as they have multiple skill checks to complete for it to be accepted. White Glyphs are the trickiest of them all—find out more below!

The best way to complete this challenge is to first locate the basement on your map. Next, find the Glyph by locating its aura.

Interact with the White Glyph to pick it up and you will see you are now carrying a special coin. Any item you were carrying is now dropped on the floor. You can collect it later once you have completed your challenge, but it is best to escape with the coin if you can as it gives you a lot of Bloodpoints!

Once you have the Glyph, you should go straight to the ‘dangerous area’—the basement. Do not fast vault, get hit by the killer, fail a skill check, or fall from a great height, or you will drop the coin and have to find it again. There will be another White Glyph to interact with in the Basement and your challenge will be complete.

You do not have to escape to complete the challenge, however, if you do, it is best to escape with the Glyph coin you gained from doing this quest. You will receive 20K Bloodpoints if you escape with the coin!

Good luck!
